Why choose Trezor Hardware Wallet®?

Trezor Hardware Wallet® stores your private keys in a tamper-resistant device, keeping them isolated from internet-connected computers and mobile phones. This minimizes exposure to malware, phishing and exchange risk.

  • Offline key storage and transaction signing
  • Open-source firmware and transparent audits
  • PIN protection and passphrase support (hidden wallets)
  • Secure Boot & firmware verification

Security features

Trezor Hardware Wallet® implements multiple layers of protection: a secure element for cryptographic operations, recovery seed backup, and user-verifiable display for transaction confirmation. Even if your computer is compromised, the device ensures transactions are authorized only with your physical confirmation.

Supported coins & integrations

Trezor Hardware Wallet® supports hundreds of cryptocurrencies and tokens including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and many ERC‑20 tokens. Seamless integrations with popular wallets and services let you manage DeFi, NFTs and tokens safely. See full compatibility at trezor.io/coins.

Setup & recovery

Initial setup is simple: connect your Trezor device, visit the official setup guide at trezor.io/start, create a PIN and write down your recovery seed. Store the recovery seed securely — it is the only way to restore your wallet if the device is lost or damaged.

How it works

When you sign a transaction, the data is sent from your computer to the Trezor Hardware Wallet® where it is displayed and signed in the device. The private keys never leave the device. This process ensures that even if your host is compromised, the attacker cannot extract keys or sign transactions without the device and your confirmation.
